HANUMAN

You prime naughty one
Prankster to fore
The strength within
As never seen before.

In your heart resides peace
In valor no defeat
Even as you bow to your Rama,
He bows to touch your feet.

There are so many tales
Entwined in your magic tail
Sleepy tired eye children
Want with you in dreams to sail.

To your steadfast might
I ape and pray
Your deeds of goodness
May make my broken day.

This poem is written by my friend, Manvendra Singh, who says he is into spiritualism these days....
